the lack of any elevators is just unacceptable in a supposedly upscale hotel, really. And let's not even start on how i had to log into an i-pad every time to turn on the lights, who thought that woudl be convenient? expecting at least some free snacks in the room was not too much to ask, right?

Exceptional breakfast variety with stylish clean accommodations.
I was shocked by the exorbitant parking fees, which we hadn't been informed about beforehand. Finding parking at the underground car park at the library was a real pain, costing us nearly E100 over three nights! the constant noise from the municipal services in the morning was irritating, and the lack of elevators made lugging our bags up the stairs cumbersome.

The hotel's breakfast was exceptional, featuring a variety of local delicacies that showcased the region's culinary richness, making each morning a delightful experience.
The technological features in the room were somewhat complicated to navigate, such as controlling the lights via a tablet, which could be a bit frustrating, especially for older guests.

The historic room was really pretty and the bed was super comfy! I loved the relaxing garden area and cozy leisure room they offered. Just a heads-up, the morning sirens might wake you, but it’s just the garbage truck doing its thing.

Recommend it for couples
The hotel is a beautifully restored historical palace! the staff was incredible, especially Kent and Paw, went above and beyond for us. I still remember that smashing view from our heritage room, overlooking a small square with delightful restaurants. We felt like royalty at breakfast, it was fit for a king with so much delicious food.
It wasn’t cheap, but the experience was still acceptable.
